Position Overview & Primary Responsibilities
Position: Farm Assistant / Poultry Worker
- Livestock Care: Assist with the daily management, feeding, watering, and monitoring of poultry and other farm livestock.
- Operational Maintenance: Support daily routine tasks across the farm, ensuring feeding systems, pens, and facilities are clean, secure, and well-maintained.
- Health & Safety: Follow strict biosecurity measures and hygienic farm procedures to protect animal welfare and maintain product quality.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside team members and supervisors to ensure overall daily productivity and smooth operations.
Key Requirements & Desired Skills
- Experience: Prior experience working on a poultry or general livestock farm, with practical hands-on agricultural knowledge.
- Proximity: Applicants must live in or around Idu, Abuja, or within a very reasonable distance from the farm (location proximity is a priority for this position).
- Work Ethic: Strong personal discipline, reliability, honesty, and a solid commitment to consistent daily attendance.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn, adapt quickly, and strictly follow established farm procedures.
- Availability: Must be ready to resume work immediately.
