Role Summary

The Production Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, drive operational efficiency, maintain strict product quality standards, and ensure production volume targets are met consistently. The successful candidate will bring deep operational experience in plastic processing machinery, raw material management, shift scheduling, and team management to optimize plant output while minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities

As the Production Manager, your key duties will include:

1. Operations Planning: Plan, coordinate, and supervise end-to-end daily production activities to maintain output schedules and targets.
2. Workforce & Shift Management: Manage production floor teams, assign shift schedules, monitor performance, and optimize overall workforce productivity.
3. Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal, cost-effective utilization of raw materials, industrial machinery, and plant production resources.
4. Efficiency & Waste Reduction: Implement targeted operational measures to reduce production scrap/waste, optimize energy use, and boost operational flow.
5. Safety & Standard Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to internal safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and standard manufacturing procedures.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Production Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably within the plastics manufacturing industry.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience operating and managing modern plastics production processes and heavy machinery.
• Leadership Capabilities: Proven track record in leading, mentoring, and managing multi-shift production teams on a factory floor.
