Role Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing corporate procurement, logistics execution, and material management operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with certified procurement expertise to maintain high quality, strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, and cost-effective vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
As the Supply Chain Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Procurement & Material Management: Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, inventory planning, warehousing, and material distribution across operational bases.
- Logistics & Supply Network Optimization: Manage complex logistics operations, build resilient supply networks, and streamline vendor partnerships.
- ERP & Digital Operations: Utilize modern ERP and procurement software tools to track orders, optimize inventory control, and ensure operational transparency.
- HSE & Quality Compliance: Enforce rigorous adherence to company quality assurance standards and strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulatory protocols.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiate supplier contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising operational integrity.
Requirements & Qualifications
Interested candidates must possess the following academic credentials, certifications, and professional background:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Professional Certifications: Recognized professional certification in CIPS, CSCP, CPSM, CILT, or PMP.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or material management.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience working with enterprise ERP software and automated procurement systems.
- Core Competencies: Strong commitment to quality, strict HSE standards, negotiation capabilities, and strategic leadership skills.
