About the Opportunity
A family based in Douala is urgently seeking a mature, reliable, and highly responsible Private Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services. This position is ideal for an experienced personal chauffeur residing within or around the Japoma neighborhood who demonstrates strong personal integrity, dedication, and professional driving skills.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for family members on daily scheduled routes and errands.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, and respect for family privacy at all times.
- Ensure routine inspection, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance of the vehicle to keep it in optimal operating condition.
- Adhere rigorously to traffic laws, local road regulations, and safety protocols to protect passengers and the vehicle.
- Manage daily transit schedules efficiently from Monday through Saturday.
Requirements & Preferred Profile
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Residence: Must live in or around the Japoma area (Douala) for easy daily commuting.
- Family Status: Must be married with children.
- Maturity & Character: High level of maturity, sense of responsibility, discipline, and trustworthiness.
- Driving Record: Proven track record as a safe, competent, and experienced driver.
Preferred Attributes
- Candidates of Bamileke or Northern region origin are preferred by the employer.
- Excellent interpersonal conduct, respectful demeanor, and high ethical standards.
