About the Role
ITCloud Consulting is seeking an experienced and motivated Backend Spring Boot Developer (M/F) to join our technical team in Douala.
We design and operate DeleevX, an active sales and delivery platform used daily by merchant partners and customers across Douala. In this role, you will take ownership of backend development across the entire lifecycle—from API architecture and integration to continuous production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust backend APIs for core platform modules (orders, logistics/deliveries, payment integrations, and catalog management).
- System Integration: Integrate and maintain third-party external services, including payment gateways, push notifications, and SMS providers.
- Security & Reliability: Implement industry-standard security protocols to safeguard user data and maintain high backend availability.
- DevOps & Deployment: Participate in continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines and regular application production deployments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with frontend developers to optimize data flow and integration between web/mobile applications and backend systems.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.
- DevOps Knowledge: Practical experience with Docker and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
- Key Traits: High autonomy, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a tech-challenge mindset.
- Preferred Skills (Bonus): Familiarity or working experience with Angular 17+ or Flutter.
